Baked Feta Turnovers

Baked Feta Turnovers, an easy snack, appetizer or dessert made of soft, melty Feta cheese wrapped in crisp and flaky puff pastry served with honey.

  • 200 gm feta cheese
  • 300 gm puff pastry
  • honey to serve
  • toasted sesame seeds for garnishing


  • Cut the feta cheese in small thin pieces (2-inches x 1-inch and about 1/2-inch thick).
  • Roll the puff pastry out thin and cut into 3-inch squares. Place 1 piece of Feta on one half of each square. Fold over and seal the edges well. Crimp with a fork. Make sure the edges are well sealed. Else they will open up during baking.
  • Place them on a baking sheet. Bake at 180C (350F) for about 20 minutes or so, or till the puff pastry crisps and turns golden brown.
  • Serve warm drizzled with honey and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over this.
